The CBPP draws together some of Britain’s best contemporary portrait and figurative painters, currently working and exploring what it means to represent people in art.
Open 10am-5pm each day from Saturday 6th June to Sunday 14th June, at The Department Store, Brixton, the annual CBPP show brings together an outstanding group of over 50 artists, including five previous winners of the National Portrait Gallery’s Portrait Award and five past winners of Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year. Admission Free.
We are also running an exciting schedule of public painting demos throughout the show, offering visitors the unique chance to watch world class portrait artists at work from a model.
On Saturday June 13th, Susanne du Toit will be painting CBPP Chair Sarah Jane Moon between 2 and 4pm.
And on Sunday June 14th, Anastasia Pollard will be painting Sadie Lee, between 2 and 4pm.

The CBPP is a non-profit artists collective, run by and for our members. Through our regular communications, general networking and our Annual Exhibition, we aim to encourage our members’ careers, while also inspiring, nurturing and educating the next generation of figurative and portrait artists.
