Running until Sunday June 14th, 10-5 daily at The Department Store, Brixton the show brings together an outstanding group of over 50 artists, including five previous winners of the National Portrait Gallery’s Portrait Award and five past winners of Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year.
Most works in the exhibition are available for purchase, with 100% of proceeds going directly to the artists – The CBPP takes no commission.
We are also running an exciting schedule of public painting demos throughout the show, offering visitors the unique chance to watch world class portrait artists at work from a model.
Today, on opening day, Tom Mead will be painting fellow CBPP member Samira Addo between 11.30 and 1.30. Later this afternoon between 2.30 and 4.30, James Bland and Darren Butcher will be painting member Lucy Stopford.
Next Saturday June 13th, Susanne du Toit will be painting CBPP Chair Sarah Jane Moon between 2 and 4pm.
And on Sunday June 14th, Anastasia Pollard will be painting Sadie Lee, between 2 and 4pm.
